It is our parish tradition to hold a continuous reading of the Psalms and the Acts of the Apostles, beginning after Great Vespers on Holy Friday and continuing until the Paschal service on Saturday night. We invite individuals and families to sign up in the narthex for a one- or two-hour slot to help keep vigil at the tomb of Christ, prayerfully reading the Psalms throughout the night.
At your scheduled time, please enter through the side door (up the ramp). If your native language is not English, you are welcome to bring a Bible in your own language to read from. This is a beautiful and peaceful way to participate in Holy Week — and a perfect opportunity for young people who enjoy staying up late!
