Dear Clergy and Parishioners of the Archdiocese,
Glory to Jesus Christ!
Our efforts to bring a full-time, fully-funded Campus Missionary to Penn State are picking up steam, and we are very pleased to announce that to-date we have already received over $17,000 in donations and $56,000 in annual pledges towards our ultimate goal of $130,000 per year. As you can see from our pledge numbers, we’re almost halfway there. And with every passing week, the goal is looking more and more within reach for us! Glory to God!
We are also very pleased at this time to announce that a generous donor has stepped forward and promised to match all donations received by the end of the month of October, up to $25,000.
So we ask you, brothers and sisters, first of all to pray for the success of this effort, which promises to have an enormous impact on the lives of Orthodox college students and inquirers at Penn State, and also to consider giving or making an annual pledge.
