Orthodox Christians from our sister parishes in Irvona and Madera (Ss. Mary and Michael), along with their pastor Fr. Alexander Cadman, are hosting a family picnic at Curwensville Lake—and you’re invited! Join us on Sunday, June 29 from 1–6pm at Pavilion #2 for an afternoon of delicious food, fun games, and fellowship with fellow parishioners and area Orthodox Christians. Fr. Mark Meholick of St. Nicholas Church in DuBois will once again provide musical entertainment! Parking is free; just mention you’re attending the church gathering at Pavilion #2. Meats, condiments, bottled water, and sodas will be provided by Ss. Mary and Michael’s, and guests are welcome to bring a covered side dish, dessert, or beverages to share.
